Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the comparison of interest in physical education subjects based on gender perspectives in students of SMKN 1 Surakarta. This study adopted a quantitative approach. This type of research uses comparative descriptive. The sample of this study was 181 students in grades 11 and 12 of SMKN 1 Surakarta. . The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the analysis based on the normality test found an Asymp.Sig value for women of 0.114 and for men of 0.142. Based on the independent t-test, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between male and female students in participating in Physical Education learning at SMKN 1 Surakarta.
