Abstract

Regional autonomy is one of the things that is considered and one of the main milestones of a region in implementing policies that are specifically intended for the welfare and prosperity of a region. From regional autonomy, it is expected that each region has a policy that can support all programs and utilize all natural and human resources available in a region and this is legitimate and protected by law. Moreover, some regions then have very abundant natural resources such as in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. So this research method uses an empirical legal research method conducted through interviews with the government tourism office. The results of this study indicate that local revenue increases every year and is potentially will continue to increase. The tourism sector itself is its main source.
