Abstract
The percentage of unemployment rate has increased in 2025. The large number of educated unemployed causes concerns for college students regarding their future careers. College students with high career anxiety will hinder the decision-making process regarding their careers so that career achievement becomes less than optimal. This study focuses on the relationship that arises between self-efficacy and social support with career anxiety. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and social support on career anxiety in college students. This study used 160 subjects at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with cluster sampling. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach using a scale as a data collection tool. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear analysis using SPSS software version 26. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is accepted because there is a simultaneous relationship between self-efficacy and social support with career anxiety in college students. The results of the F test in this study showed a sig value of 0.000 (<0.05). The self-efficacy variable has a negative relationship with career anxiety as evidenced by the significance value of the self-efficacy variable of 0.000 (<0.05) with a t-count of -4,695. Social support has a negative relationship with career anxiety as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) with a t-count of -5,352.
