Abstract

Impulsive Buying is a form of behavior that occurs beyond control in shopping behavior due to increasingly rapid and easy technological developments. Students in this phenomenon require the role of Self Control and Religiosity in shaping behavior. There is a purpose of the study, namely to determine the relationship between Self Control and Religiosity and impulsive Buying behavior in Pay Later users. This study implements a quantitative correlational approach with data collection instruments in the form of scales, including the self-control scale. religiosity scale, and Impulsive buying scale. This study has 128 students who use Pay Later as subjects. The sampling technique is determined by purposive sampling. Then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression using the SPSS application. Based on the research data that has been carried out, it was obtained that the major hypothesis proposed by the researcher was accepted, namely that self-control and religiosity have a significant relationship to Impulsive buying behavior (F = 5.467, Sig=0.004). Furthermore, the first minor hypothesis proposed by the researcher is that self-control is accepted and has a significant relationship with impulsive buying behavior in Pay Later users (Sig = 0.17, B = 0.-130). The second minor hypothesis is that Religiosity is accepted and has a significant relationship with impulsive buying behavior in Pay Later users (Sig = 0.18, B = 0.-116). The effective contribution of self-control to impulsive buying is 4.2% and the effective contribution of religiosity to impulsive buying is 4.08%, thus Self-control has a greater contribution relationship to impulsive buying.
