Abstract
The principal's managerial function makes MTs schools continue to develop and always advance, as evidenced by the increasing number of students attending school and the increasing achievements achieved by MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar. MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar has a superior program to improve the quality of student education, the following are the superior programs of MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar: Superior program of tahfidz 3 juz, Arabic and English Language Development, IT-based Learning, Development of Olympiads/Science and ESQ Culture (Emotional and Spiritual Quotient). This study aims to describe what the managerial function of the madrasah principal is like and the principal's efforts to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar.
