Abstract
Information system security has become a very important issue in the current digital era, especially for website services such as MomenIndahku which are hosted on Virtual Private Servers (VPS). This website is at high risk of attacks, which could disrupt its operations and impact its reputation. This research aims to implement and evaluate the performance of a host-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS), namely Teler, in a VPS environment for MomenIndahku, which is equipped with a notification sending feature via Telegram. In this experiment, Teler was applied to detect and analyze attacks, and then send real-time alerts to Telegram. The research results show the effectiveness of integration between Teler and Telegram in reducing threats, without sacrificing service performance. The evaluation parameters used include detection rate and response time.
