Abstract
Law enforcement related to land degradation due to industrial waste must be strictly enforced by the Government based on Law No. 32 of 2009 for the Sukoharjo Regency area using PERDA No. 5 of 2023 which is expected to provide justice for the community. The author's goal is that the Government must know how to handle industrial actors whose waste causes degradation around the industrial area and what efforts and solutions have been made by the Sukoharjo Regency Government in overcoming agricultural land degradation. Using a qualitative research method based on a normative legal approach so that it is able to focus on the analysis of legal texts, legal doctrines, and legal principles that apply in certain cases obtained through qualitative and normative data processes. The results of this study are that law enforcement against agricultural land degradation caused by industrial waste in Indonesia has been regulated in various regulations, such as Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management which was partially amended in the Job Creation Law. Meanwhile, in the Sukoharjo Region, a Regional Regulation (PERDA) of Sukoharjo Regency Number 5 of 2023 concerning Environmental Protection and Management has been created, aiming to realize sustainable development by maintaining the quality of the environment and natural resources that support community life.
