Abstract

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) uses the idea of "Precision". In accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Law, the police in Tribrata are tasked with protecting and assisting the community by upholding the law (NKRI). The National Police has broad responsibility and authority to carry out investigations into all types of minor violations. To implement criminal law, the National Police must have the necessary capabilities, skills, procedures and strategies. It is important for National Police investigators to consider Restorative Justice as a viable option for speedy resolution of cases while still considering the justice of the other party. One tactic for resolving domestic violence (KDRT) situations is by using Restorative Justice. juridical-empirical legal research. There was a domestic violence incident between husband and wife, there were reports that the wife and husband were reported, mediation took place where both parties agreed to make peace, there were no obstacles in this domestic violence case, the Muncar Police, Banyuwangi Regency, had tried and implemented the resolution of the case. Domestic violence crimes use the concept of penal mediation and a restorative justice approach, which is revealed LP/B/43/VI/2024/SPKT/POLSEKMUNCAR/POLRESTABANYUWANGI/POLDA JAWA TIMUR. The concept of restorative justice is not only seen from the side of the person reporting or the victim but also seeing and hearing from the perpetrator. Peace is carried out through mediation. This is not just a formality, and achieves recovery that is fair and without coercion, which clearly prioritizes the wishes of the victim.
