Abstract

Cluntang Village is the area with the highest production of roses in Boyolali Regency, so this high level of production makes farmers dependent on the rose harvest to meet their daily needs and to improve their welfare. Based on these conditions, this research aims to: 1) analyze the level of welfare of rose farmers in Cluntang Village, Musuk District, Boyolali Regency. and 2) analyze the influence of land area, labor, income and sales location on the level of welfare of rose farmers in Cluntang Village, Musuk District, Boyolali Regency. The research methods used were interviews and surveys with the population of Cluntang Village. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling with a sample size of 30 respondents. The data analysis used is scoring, descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression. The research results showed that the number of 30 farmer respondents in the high level of welfare category was 23 people or 76.67% and the number of farmers in the moderate level of welfare category was 7 people or 23.3%. The results of the multiple linear regression test showed that income and labor partially had a positive and significant effect on the welfare of rose farmers. The influence of land area and sales location partially has no effect or has a negative effect on farmer welfare. The regression value shows that income has the highest influence with a regression value of 2.165. The results of the coefficient of determination can be interpreted as the land area variable (X1), workforce (X2), income (X3) and sales location (X4) has a simultaneous effect on the welfare variable (Y) of 66.3%. Meanwhile, the rest is explained by other variables that are not included in the equation and are not researched, which have an influence of 33.7%.
