Abstract

UPT Puskesmas Gemarang currently manages inpatient care records manually. Medical staff on duty are required to document inpatient data on paper, which poses challenges in data management and increases the risk of data loss during storage. Therefore, a system is required to digitally manage inpatient records and store the data in a centralized database. A web-based inpatient care management system utilizing the Odoo 14 application is expected to enhance the management of inpatient rooms and the distribution of medications. The system development process included several stages, such as problem identification and goal setting, literature review, scope determination, analysis, development, testing, documentation, and preparation of the final report. The outcome of this study is a web-based inpatient care management system using Odoo 14, which consists of several integrated modules to support the inpatient care business processes at UPT Puskesmas Gemarang, thereby improving the overall inpatient care system. The modules developed and integrated include Receiving Notes, Delivery Orders, Patients, Products, Partners, Units of Measure (UoM), Warehouses, Insurances, and Rooms. The Odoo 14 application effectively fulfills the requirements for inpatient care management, offering improved and more secure data storage solutions.
