Abstract

As information technology continues to develop, the presence of Instagram social media is very helpful in meeting the needs of online buying and selling via social media. One of them is the @barkas.ums account. By presenting quality content, it can provide satisfying information for the audience and increase the number of followers. One thing that influences follower satisfaction is accurate content. This research aims to determine the quality level of @barkas.ums content, the level of follower satisfaction, and the influence of @barkas.ums content quality on follower satisfaction. This research uses quantitative research methods, the data collection technique uses a Google form questionnaire, the analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, Pearson analysis and linear regression. The theory used is Uses and Gratification which says that audiences can choose media to meet their needs. The results of this research show that the quality level of @barkas.ums content is in the medium category with a score of 48.32 with a frequency of 82, a percentage of 68.33% and the level of follower satisfaction is in the medium category with a score of 32.99, a frequency of 84, a percentage of 70%. There is an influence of the quality of preaching content on Instagram followers' information satisfaction, as evidenced by the regression coefficient of 0.484 with a t value of 8.469 and a coefficient of determination of 37.8%.
