Abstract

Manggarai Station, located in Manggarai Village, Tebet District, South Jakarta, is both a station and a cultural heritage building with significant potential to be developed into a central station in Jabodetabek due to its strategic location and easy accessibility from various routes in Jabodetabek. However, the current architectural design of the station is not yet optimal in supporting its function, efficiency, and planned role as a central station. Therefore, a Redesign of the station is necessary with an approach of Fluid Architecture. Fluid Architecture emphasizes flexibility and adaptability of space. With this approach, Manggarai Station is expected to adapt to changing needs and the surrounding environmental conditions. The concept aims to provide innovative solutions for circulation and accessibility issues at Manggarai Station, particularly in applying the Fluid Architecture concept in the design of railway stations.
