Abstract
Failure to turn off electronic equipment while traveling can result in increased electricity bills, device damage, and even the risk of fire. To overcome this problem, a voice command-based Smart Home system integrated with Google Assistant was designed. This system makes it easier to manage electronic equipment and improves home security with remote control via the Blynk application or voice commands connected using IFTTT and MQTT. The ESP32 is used as the main controller, while the DHT22 sensor monitors the room temperature and provides warnings via Blynk if the temperature exceeds 45°C. The Magnetic Switch Door sensor ensures the door locks automatically after 10 seconds of closing, and the PIR sensor detects movement with a range of up to 2 meters. Test results show the system works well, where device control via the Blynk application was successful without problems. Voice commands are well received in quiet room conditions (40 dB) and slightly noisy (60 dB), but are not effective in very noisy room conditions (90 dB). The DHT22 sensor has an average error rate of 2.56% which is still acceptable, while the PIR and Magnetic Switch Door sensors work accurately. This system has proven to be effective in helping manage electronic devices and increasing home.
