Abstract
Foam agent is an added ingredient in the concrete mixture to form lightweight concrete. The use of this foam agent can make the concrete volume expand and reduce the weight of the concrete produced, however the use of the foam agent also reduces the resulting compressive strength. Therefore, in order to reduce the weight of the concrete and maintain the strength of the concrete, this research was carried out with an innovative combination of normal concrete plates and lightweight concrete with foam agents, where the proportion of added foam agent mixture was 2% of the cement. Concrete mix planning is used using the SK SNI T-15-1990-03 method and the planned compressive strength value is 25 MPa for normal concrete and the concrete density to be achieved is < 1850 kg/m3 (for lightweight concrete) according to (SNI 03- 3449-2002). The results of this research on the addition of 2% foam agent, the weight achieved meets the requirements because it is <1850 kg/m3.
