Abstract
This study aims to design a smart home system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that functions to manage lighting, enhance security, and support remote control. The system implements an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor to detect light intensity and automatically adjust the brightness of LED lights. In addition, an ESP32-Wrover CAM integrated with a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor is used to detect movement within a 75 cm radius, capture images, and send them in real-time via the Telegram application. The security feature is equipped with a solenoid door lock operated through a relay. When the correct PIN is entered, the relay activates, the door unlocks, and a green LED lights up as an indicator of success. Conversely, if an incorrect PIN is entered once, the relay remains inactive, and a red LED lights up. After three consecutive incorrect attempts, the red LED remains on, accompanied by the activation of a buzzer as an additional warning. Based on testing results, the system demonstrates effective performance in managing lighting, providing access error warnings, and sending real-time images. Remote control through the Blynk application also operates optimally. Overall, this system enhances security, energy efficiency, and facilitates remote monitoring and control.
