Abstract

Charity boxes are media that can be used for charity other than zakat institutions. In general, the distribution of charity boxes is done by shifting them from one congregation to another, this method is considered less effective and the distribution is less comprehensive. This study was conducted with the aim of creating a security system by replacing the use of conventional keys with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) modules. This method will be applied to a charity box that will use esp32-CAM and is equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring using a telegram chat bot that can send short messages and images in real time. This tool will use a vibration sensor, Reedswitch MC-38, TCS3200 sensor, RFID module as a wireless identification system, Relay, StepdownLM2596, Arduino UNO, Solenoid doorlock, LCD 16 x2, Buzzer and is equipped with ESP32-CAM which is used to capture images in real time and will be sent via the telegram application. The results of the tool testing were carried out by calibrating the script on the Arduino UNO and ESP32-CAM as well as each of its components. The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) module can read access cards from a distance of 0 to 4 cm, when more than that the RFID module cannot read the access card accurately. The TCS2300 sensor can identify the nominal money based on its color, but the nominal money detected is not always accurate because this sensor reads data in RGB format (red, green, blue), the vibration sensor on this device can detect vibrations if the vibrations produced are strong, the sensitivity of this sensor can be adjusted with the potentiometer contained in it, the stronger the shock produced, the easier it is for this sensor to detect it. The ESP32-CMA will send a short message notification equipped with a picture in real time.
