Abstract

The development of information technology has changed many aspects of life, including data management in educational institutions such as SMP IT Nurul Islam Tengaran. However, the absence of an integrated and easily accessible information system has resulted in obstacles to efficiency and transparency in human resource management. This system is designed to increase efficiency in data management, speed up the decisionmaking process and increase the transparency of data-related information. The system development method used is waterfall. This approach consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The initial stages of the research involved collecting data regarding school information needs at SMP IT Nurul Islam Tengaran through observation, interviews and documentation studies to understand user needs and existing data processes. The results of this research show that the development of school information systems can make a significant contribution in increasing the efficiency of data management based on black box testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) with an average score of 77.08 and can speed up information access, data accuracy, and facilitate decision making related to management. human Resources.
