Abstract
The household sector is one of the sources of waste that contributes quite large amounts of waste in Indonesia. According to a preliminary study in Makamhaji Village, it shows that 70% of housewives are not able to manage waste properly, such as not sorting waste according to type before throwing it away. This problem can have an impact on public health and accelerate environmental damage. This research aims to determine which factors (infrastucture, perceptions, attitudes) are related to the behavior of housewives in waste management in Makamhaji Village. This type of research is observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The total sample was 389 respondents with sample determination using convenience Sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested as valid and reliable. Data analysis used chi-square. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between infra- structure and waste management behavior (p=0.000). There is no relationship between perception and waste management behavior (p=0.160). There is a relationship between
