Abstract
Stunting is a condition defined as a disturbance in the growth and development of children caused by chronic nutritional disorders, repeated infections, and other factors that interfere with health. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the magnitude of the influence of Immunization (IM), Gender Empowerment Index (IDG), Poverty (KM), Protein Adequacy Rate (AKP), Average Length of Schooling for Women (RLSP), and Proper Sanitation (SL) on the Stunting Level. This study uses a panel data method with a sample of 11 districts/cities as a cross-section and with the period 2021-2023 as a time series. After the Chow Test and Hausman Test were carried out, the selected or best model in this study was the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The variables Gender Empowerment Index (IDG), Average Length of Schooling for Women (RLSP), and Proper Sanitation (SL) have a negative effect on Stunting (ST); The Poverty (KM) and Protein Adequacy Rate (AKP) variables have a positive effect on Stunting (ST), and the Immunization (IM) variable has no effect on Stunting in the East Nusa Tenggara Province.
