Abstract
With the development of an increasingly advanced era, it has brought significant changes in the field of technology, especially the emergence of social media. Social media is not only used by humans as a means of entertainment and information, but also used to help in the development of a tourist village. One of them is Kauman Batik Village which is the oldest batik village in Solo City. This village is famous for its batik-making process which has become an identity of the batik village since ancient times. In addition, Kauman Batik Village certainly has a lot of potential that can continue to be developed, starting from batik tourism, history, and educational. However, the Kauman Batik Village has a weak image caused by the lack of promotion in the village. Therefore, the management of social media @explorekampungbatikkauman very important in promoting this batik village by using various new innovations so that it is better known by the wider community, both domestically and abroad. This research aims to find out how social media management @explorekampungbatikkauman in an effort to develop a communication strategy for Kampung Batik Kauman, because the existence of social media is expected to make the village more known by the wider community.
