Abstract
Children's inability to understand numbers is due to the lack of learning materials that allow them to learn independently. The introduction of number concepts in young children must be motivated so that they can understand numbers well enough to understand more complex number operations in later math lessons. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using animated films on the ability of 4-5 year old children to understand numbers 1-10. The reason for this research is that the children are not able to understand the numbers 1-10 because of the lack of use of learning platforms by the teachers. Therefore, there is a need for new ideas on learning methods that can improve the understanding of numbers 1-10, counting 1-10, number sequences 1-10, and associating numbers with objects. The research sample consisted of 18 children, 9 boys and 9 girls. This study is a quantitative experimental study that examines the validity of information using the SPSS program using One Gather pre- test and post-test design, normality test and paired t�test. The results of the hypotheses were obtained after the pre-test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test), and then the researcher analyzed the results of the study, which were rejected and accepted, means using Moving videos have an effect A significant effect on understanding numbers 1-10 in children 4-5 years old in BA Aisyiyah 1 Mandan
