Abstract

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of educated unemployed at the university level as of August 2023 was 787,973.One of the efforts to reduce the unemployment rate is to create jobs through the birth of new entrepreneurs. The Independent Entrepreneurship Program is a program of the Ministry of Education and Culture that aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves into potential entrepreneurs through activities outside of lectures. There are several stages in the Independent Entrepreneurship program, namely Workshops, Internships,Startup Acceleration, Proposal Pitching and Prototype Making, and Entrepreneurship Expo. The results obtained by students after participating in this stage are increasing entrepreneurial interest and skills, increasing student employability, and forming an entrepreneurial mentality. According to the program, students can play the role of job providers for people of productive age. Thus, more and more young entrepreneurs are created from the Independent Entrepreneurship program.
