Abstract

The Sarung Goyor Khas Pemalang factory, located in Wanarejan Utara Village, is known as one of the traditional sarong producers with distinctive characteristics of soft yet durable textures. These sarongs are not only popular among local communities but are also exported abroad, including to Saudi Arabia, where they are highly favored. The Sarung Goyor Khas Pemalang factory in Wanarejan Utara Village still uses a manual paper-based payroll system, which often leads to errors in employee salary calculations. This research aims to develop a payroll system capable of automatically calculating weekly salaries based on the number of sarongs produced by each employee. The system is also equipped with features for recording the quantity of incoming and outgoing goods as well as accurately calculating holiday allowances (THR). The development method used is the waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and implementation. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database to support optimal data processing. The results of implementing this system include easier management of salaries, calculation of employee allowances based on the total number of items produced, tracking of total incoming and outgoing inventory, and the generation of weekly employee salary reports. The System Usability Scale (SUS) testing conducted on 20 respondents resulted in an average score of 88.87, which falls into the Acceptable category and is well-received by the factory owners.
