Abstract
When first grade students start actively learning, there are those who cannot read well and correctly. To solve this problem, there is a need for appropriate methods and strategies in learning. This research aims to analyze the need for developing the "Let's Learn to Read" module at Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen Elementary School, develop the "Let's Learn to Read" module used in learning at Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen Elementary School, test the feasibility and effectiveness of developing the "Let's Learn to Read" module. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research were 26 class I students at Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Sragen. Based on the results of the feasibility test for the reading learning module based on the assessment of language and media experts, it shows that the learning module meets the very appropriate criteria with an average score of 93.33%. In the field test, the N-gain (g) was obtained at 0.80 with a high classification, which means the reading learning module has high effectiveness. The conclusion is that first, based on the needs analysis, it is necessary to develop the "Let's Learn to Read" module. The two modules developed are more interesting and suit the character of elementary school students. The three "Let's Learn to Read" modules were proven to be feasible and effective in learning for elementary school students.
