Abstract
Along with the rapid development of streaming as a form of entertainment, especially on the YouTube platform, interactions between streamers and fans have become an interesting social phenomenon to research. This phenomenon reflects the relationship formed between streamers and fans who are connected to each other even though there is no direct physical interaction. This research aims to describe the parasocial interaction of Deankt streamers and fans via the YouTube platform. This type of research is research that uses a qualitative descriptive approach. A total of 3 informants in this study were obtained using the snowball sampling method to obtain research samples. Data collection using interview techniques as a primary source and literature study as a secondary source. then the data was analyzed using Narrative Analysis. To validate the data, researchers used source triangulation techniques, namely comparing the data collected with information from other sources. The results of this study show that parasocial interactions between fans and Deankt on YouTube develop through two stages: absorption and addiction. In the absorption stage, fans feel connected to Deankt through interactive content such as live streaming and Superchat, creating a more personal and intimate experience. Notifications from YouTube also reinforce this connectedness, encouraging fans to stay up to date with their idols. Over time, this emotional attachment develops into an addiction, where fans feel the need to get more attention from Deankt, reflected in financial contributions and efforts to get more involved.
