Abstract
Septage waste is still a problem in Indonesia. Currently, in general septage transported by septic trucks from septic tanks is discharged directly into water bodies. The process can potentially cause enviromental pollution that endanger public health. Therefore, in order to avoid these impacts, a Fecal Waste Treatment is needed before it is discharged directly into the environment. The IPLT id designed to receive and treat septage transported by septage trucks from the septictanks of local residents. This Study was conducted at the Magetan Regency which was built in 2023 with land area of 2 Ha. IPLT Magetan Regency plans to serve 3 (three) sub-districts namely Panekan, Magetan, and Plaosan out of 18 (eighteen) sub-districts with a total population of 152.569 people. However, the IPLT in Magetan Regency id not sufficent to serve the population of 3 (three) sub-subdistricts optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study of increasing the IPLT in order to serve the population of the next 10 years so that service at the IPLT can take place optimally. So it is necessary to calculate the discharged that will enter the IPLT for the next 10 years, as well as to know the comparison of the existing fecal waste treatment design with the new waste treatment. The IPLT pond components include the Imhoff Tank, Anaerobic Baffled Reactor, Fakultative pond, and Maturation pond. Based on the result of population in Magetan Regency until 2030 amounted to 292.851 peole, with a total discharged that will enter the IPLT of 44 m3/Hari. The Planning of the IPLT refers to the Departemen of Public Works Directorate General of Human Settlements.
