Abstract
This research aims to determine the correlation between self-concept and career decision making and career decision making in terms of gender in high school students. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Data collection uses two scales, namely the self-concept scale and the career decision making scale. The subjects in this research were 100 students from class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Cawas. The sampling technique used was Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The data analysis methods used are the Product Moment correlation analysis technique and the Independent Sample T-Test technique as well as additional analysis using simple linear regression. The results of this research show that in the Product Moment correlation analysis there is a correlation value (r) = 0.376 with Sig. (1-tailed) 0.000 which means that there is a positive and significant correlation between self-concept and career decision making. Meanwhile, in the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis, there is a significance value of 0.338 (p>0.05), which means that there is no difference in career decision making between male and female students. The results of simple linear regression analysis show an R square of 0.141, which means that the influence of self-concept on career decision making is 14.1%. The results of data categorization show that students' self-concept and career decision making are in the high category.
