Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of inflation, the rupiah exchange rate, interest rates, and the number of taxable entrepreneurs on Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue in the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Central Java II for the years 2018–2022. The research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing uses secondary data, including information from Bank Indonesia and the Directorate General of Taxes. The results indicate that inflation and the number of taxable entrepreneurs significantly impact VAT revenue, while the rupiah exchange rate and interest rates have no significant effect. The conclusion of this study is that certain macroeconomic factors and the number of registered taxable entrepreneurs contribute to VAT revenue in the region overseen by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Central Java II.
