Abstract
Embung is one of the well-known artificial natural tourist attractions that uses water sources as a medium for fish breeding, which is then used as a recreational tourist attraction with fishing tourism. In this embung, the sheet pile walls and handrails have not yet been built, so small children and adults often drown who are carrying out activities in the embung. Embung Sekip has enormous natural potential as a tourist area. However, with the potential that exists in Embung Sekip there are problems such as the arrangement of masses and landscapes in land areas that are not organized and continuous with each other. Embung Sekip is close to the tempeh & tempeh chips industrial area in Karangtengah Prandon Village. Because they are located close together, they are combined into an educational tourism village. Embung Skip will be used as placemaking supported by tempehbased culinary delights from the home industry of Karangtengah Prandon Village. It is hoped that this regional combination can create optimal cooperation and provide benefits in Ngawi Village and Karangtengah Prandon Village. This planning and design will use a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data or information through documentation and observation activities, then it will be analyzed and explained. The findings from this research are that the condition of the embung is no longer maintained and needs updating in accordance with Ngawi Regency Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2019 article 9 concerning assessment of tourist villages.
