Abstract
Ternate City, which includes 4 sub-districts, namely Ternate City Sub-district, North Ternate Sub-district, Central Ternate Sub-district, and South Ternate Sub-district, is an area with the highest risk of Mount Gamalama eruption. This certainly needs to be considered because the population living in this area is quite large, around 182,250 people. Based on this, this study aims to create an evacuation route plan that is responsive to all levels of the population. This study uses the Least Cost Path method which is useful for finding the shortest effective route with the lowest cost and the Chooper Test which is useful as a test of the physical condition of the community based on their age category. The results of this study obtained that the disaster-prone population are people aged 0-4 years (toddlers), aged 5-9 years (children), and aged 55-75+ years (elderly). There are 16 evacuation locations that are predominantly located in the north, approximately 1,141 meters from the disaster-affected location, where each location has its own evacuation route model, each route has 1-5 evacuation routes that will be passed by the community in each region. The safest evacuation route model against the Gamalama Volcano eruption disaster is the SD N 62 Ternate Shelter Evacuation Route with a travel time of 4 minutes 88 seconds, while the longest evacuation route with the longest travel time is the Nurul Wasti Mosque Evacuation Route with an average travel time of around 18 minutes 80 seconds.
