Abstract

Technological developments in the era of globalization are growing increasingly rapidly in various fields of knowledge. Nowadays, young people can easily use smartphones, thus triggering the growth of the gaming industry on various platforms. In the initial stage, researchers made observations at the Beran 04 State Elementary School in Ngawi. The problem experienced is the lack of potential of students in Natural Sciences subjects regarding the respiratory system. Therefore, educational games have great potential to increase students' creativity and thinking in learning about the respiratory system at the Beran 04 State Elementary School in Ngawi. Based on these considerations, researchers developed an educational game based on Construct 2 about the respiratory system to help improve knowledge in elementary schools. The method used in this research is Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). The aim of this research is to provide an interactive learning experience so that students can get better benefits from learning natural sciences and broader thinking. Evaluation was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. This test involved 30 respondents with an average value of 80.5833. This research proves that the human respiratory system game is suitable for use as a learning medium for grade 5 students at SD Beran 04 Ngawi.
