Abstract
Traditional markets act as centers of community economic activities, as well as a place to promote local products and open up employment opportunities for the community. Traditional markets in Sukoharjo Regency require new innovations through the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to make it easier for prospective buyers to determine the choice of traditional markets closest to their homes and meet their needs. The objectives of this study are: 1). Analyze the distribution patterns of traditional markets in Sukoharjo Regency, 2). Develop and innovate a traditional market GIS web system to help prospective buyers determine their choice of traditional markets, as well as a recommendation for the local government, 3). Analyze the level of user satisfaction (prospective buyers) aged 17-35 years towards the GIS web application for mapping the distribution of traditional markets in Sukoharjo Regency. The research method used in this study is non-probability sampling in the form of a purposive sampling technique for sampling prospective buyers (users) who will be used in the usability test. The spatial analysis of this study uses the Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) method. The results of this study indicate that the distribution pattern of traditional markets in Sukoharjo Regency is included in the Random category. The results of the collection of information on traditional markets in Sukoharjo Regency show that there are 26 markets spread across various locations, with a total of 7,371 kiosks and stalls available to traders. By using GIS technology, data on these markets can be mapped accurately, providing a clear picture of accessibility and product availability. The results of the usability test show that this application has successfully achieved an average score above 3.7 and an overall satisfaction percentage of 79%, indicating that users are satisfied and this application meets their expectations.
