Abstract
This research aims to describe the results of comparing films for teaching materials. It is necessary for teachers to adapt new things in literature learning, so that they are relevant to teaching materials for phase F, especially literature learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and uses a literary sociology approach. The material provided is in the form of novels and films, so this research is a literature study and does not require a specific location. The data for this research are novels and excerpts of scenes and dialogue taken from the NKCTHI film. The data sources used in this research are the novel written by Marchella FP in 2018 and the film NKCTHI produced by Vinema Pictures. Literature review techniques are used in this article to collect data. In qualitative data analysis, using Miles and Huberman analysis as an interactive data analysis approach. The film entitled NKCTHI faithfully presents the novel entitled NKCTHI. The novel entitled NKCTHI is relevant to high school level literature learning. The reason the film entitled NKCTHI can be a companion to literary learning material for the novel entitled NKCTHI.
