Abstract

For the community, the Hajj pilgrimage is the culmination of all the worship performed and as a perfection of one's faith. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the people of Sukoharjo who flocked to register for the Hajj. However, because the waiting time for the Hajj is long, the people of Sukoharjo who want to perform the Hajj pilgrimage replace it with the Umrah pilgrimage, which apart from the low cost, Umrah also goes directly to Baitullah. However, of course here, prospective pilgrims who have never performed Umrah at all or do not understand the procedures for Umrah according to the Sunnah, do not need to worry, because whether for Umrah or Hajj there will be theoretical and practical ritual education, the aim of which is to provide prospective pilgrims with knowledge before carrying out the pilgrimage. Umrah. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. According to Moelong, descriptive research is a form of research aimed at describing or illustrating an ongoing event, be it a natural phenomenon or an engineered phenomenon created by humans. The research technique uses observation and interview methods. The results of this research basically use the theory of the simulation method because this method designs all the props used in learning to be exactly the same as what we will do, so that it makes it easier for the congregation to memorize prayers and the congregation can also imagine the original appearance of the Kaaba in Mecca. . The practical simulation method is very easy for Umrah pilgrims to understand because not only are we simulating the worship activities but the place and room are set exactly like in Mecca, therefore the congregation will be enthusiastic about undergoing the rituals because before performing the actual Umrah pilgrimage they have already learned through the rituals , both prayer when going for Umrah, prayer when passing the Black Stone, prayer when passing the green pillar, how to wear the ihram cloth for male pilgrims.
