Abstract

Beauty Hijab is a shop that sells various types of Muslim women's fashion in the current era. Beauty hijab shops still use a manual system. The manual method is less efficient in managing sales. The manual method still requires a long time to work. Therefore, the existence of a web-based point of sale (POS) system can increase effectiveness in sales management. This system will be developed using the waterfall method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. By using the PHP programming language combined with the Laravel Framework to speed up the development process and increase system effectiveness. This system aims to simplify data management and provide information related to sales reports. This research produces a web-based point of sales (POS) system for Beauty Hijab stores with an interface that meets the owner's expectations, so that this system is easy to use and helps Beauty Hijab store management more effectively. Evaluation is also carried out through the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and using the Myer method in order to produce applications that can be used well, and this testing will involve 30 respondents resulting in an average score of 77.33. The results of this research can prove that the implementation of a point of sales system can be used in hijab beauty shops.
