Abstract

Geotagging as a method of mapping plant distribution can and should be done as part of a form of accountability for the realization of planting in watershed rehabilitation and to provide a visual depiction of the realization of the planting area. The purpose of the study was to compare the planned area with the actual/realized planting area and to provide a visual depiction of the actual/realized planting area in Kalirejo Village, Bagelen District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province. The data used were field measurement data from BPDAS Serayu Opak Progo and geotagging data delineated based on the outermost point to form the actual planting area. The data analysis method used spatial overlay analysis to determine the suitability between the planned planting area and the actual/realized area and nearest neighbor analysis to determine the spatial distribution of geotagging data. The planned and actual/realized areas are less appropriate, where the planned area is 8.27 ha and the actual/realized area is 10.48 ha with a difference of 2.21 ha, the comparison of both is divided into three, namely the effective area (planned area that is planted), non-effective area (planned area not planted), and replacement area (planted area outside the planned area to replace the non-effective area), and has a different geometry where the planned area consists of one stretch, while the actual area consists of 8 stretch blocks which are influenced by dense vegetation cover conditions, extreme topography, rocky soil, and the presence of productive land. The geotagging data used to determine the actual planting area has a clustered spatial distribution pattern with a T value (p-value) of 0.000 and a z-score of -52.531.
