Abstract
Cepogo District is one of the administrative areas in Boyolali Regency. Its area located on the slopes of Mount Merapi makes Cepogo District have diverse morphology, such as the mountainous West, the hilly North and South, and the lowlands in the East. This diverse morphology makes the Cepogo District area prone to landslides. According to BPS Boyolali Regency data in 2014, 2018, and 2019, there were 13 landslide disasters in Cepogo District. This research aims to analyze the distribution of areas in Cepogo District that are prone to landslides using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and analyze the relationship between physical parameters and landslide vulnerability in Cepogo District. The AHP method uses the parameters that have the most influence on landslide susceptibility, including slope gradient, soil type, rainfall, geology, and land use. The results of this study divide the level of landslide vulnerability in Cepogo District into 3 classes, namely high, medium, and low vulnerability. The high vulnerability class covers an area of 999 hectares (18%) located in Genting Village, Sukabumi, part of Kembangkuning Village, Wonodoyo, Gedangan, Jombong, Cepogo, and Sumbung. The moderate vulnerability class covers an area of 3.272 hectares (59%) in almost all areas in Cepogo District. The low vulnerability class has an area of 1.293 hectares (23%) is located in parts of the West Wonodoyo Village, Sumbung, Paras, Jelok, Candigatak, Cabeankunti, Cepogo, and Gubug. In order, the parameters that have the most influence on landslide vulnerability include steep to moderately steep slopes (15-25% and 25-40%), crumbly and easily detached soil types, high rainfall (3.000-3.500 mm/year), weathered and easily fallen rock geological structures, and inappropriate use of land above the area.
