Abstract

One of the obligations of a Muslim is to have faith in the book of Allah SWT. Reading the Qur'an is a form of applying faith to the book of Allah SWT. However, currently there are still Muslims who cannot read the Qur'an correctly. Therefore, learning to read the Qur'an is important to be carried out in school, including at the high school level. Teachers who have competence in their fields are needed, namely with one of the methods in memorizing the Qur'an, namely the talaqqi method. This study aims to describe the management of tahfizh Al-Quran learning with the talaqqi method in grade XI of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta and to analyze these obstacles on the effectiveness of learning and learning outcomes of students in grade XI of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This study uses a type of field research using a phenomenological descriptive approach. Data is required from primary and secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the data collection technique of this study uses observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that there are stages in the management of tahfizh Al-Qur'an learning with the Talaqqi method in grade XI of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, including the management and implementation carried out by tahfizh teachers assisted by Islamic Religious Education teachers. The implementation of tahfizh learning takes place in classrooms and mosques. In addition, there are supporting factors in tahfizh learning, such as the cooperation between tahfizh teachers and PAI teachers and the location of deposits in the classroom and in school mosques. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include the lack of number of teachers, lack of deposit time and muroja'ah, and not using methods.
