Abstract
This research aims to obtain the results of the analysis carried out on the main Girder, Runway and supports used as a means of installing 1 Ton SWL plastic molding, show a comparison of the simulation with the results of the design analysis, and find out the standard of the erection process for a Single Girder Underhang Crane. In this Final Project research, an analysis of the design of an Underhang crane with a SWL of 1 ton was carried out, where the research stages consisted of modeling using Solidworks software, structural strength analysis, and simulation so that the Underhang crane design could operate safely, starting from modeling and then looking for maximum load, deflection. and safety factor with direct loading in the middle of the span, for the Girder itself with loading in the middle of the span, the maximum stress value (Von misses) is 70,75 N/mm2, the maximum deflection value is 0,0341 m, and the safety factor is (3,5), then for the End Carriage stress maximum (Von misses) is 79,30 N/mm2, the maximum deflection value is 0,00124 m and the safety factor is (2,4), while the maximum Runway stress (Von misses) is 65,15 N/mm2, the maximum deflection value is 0.0014 m, and safety factor of (3,8) and after all parts are assembled with a SWL load of 1 ton right in the middle of the span, a Safety factor value of (2,6) is obtained. From the results of the value obtained, it meets the required criteria so that as long as the structure is used properly, the structure is safe.
