Abstract
Wheel loader is a heavy equipment with rubber wheels (tires) that can be used to load material into a dump truck or can also be used to move material from one place to another. Differential is a component to forward the rotating power of the transmission through the propeller shaft which will then make the power distribution smoother from the final gear to the left and right wheels under any conditions. Crown wheel functions to transmit force so that it can be delivered to the wheels of the engine. This analysis aims to determine the type of crown wheel damage. Knowing the maintenance and repair steps on the crown wheel loader XGMA 935H. The inspection is done visually on the differential. The results of the analysis of damage to the crown wheel due to reduced crown wheel gears. Repair steps taken by replacing damaged components and cleaning all components from dirt. Preventive measures by carrying out daily checks and preventive maintenance according to procedures.
