Abstract
Misinformation has been identified by the World Economic Forum since 2012 as one of the most important challenges in the digital information age. Moreover, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in early 2020, the World Health Organization declared that apart from the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic, an 'infodemic' had also been formed due to the large amount of misinformation. Indonesia is not immune from the infodemic phenomenon, and Indonesia's low scientific literacy (based on data from the Program for International Student Assessment and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) is exacerbating this phenomenon. One of the causes of low scientific literacy in Indonesia is that most learning only occurs formally in the classroom and is only focused on teachers and textbooks, so it does not stimulate interest in learning science. To grow people's interest in science, this can be done by increasing access to informal science education, one of which is through science museums. Museums have been recognized by UNESCO for their importance in communicating science to all groups by creating the right environment for discovery learning. However, on the other hand, museums can also cause visitors to experience 'museum fatigue', namely physical and mental fatigue caused by factors such as object satiation, disorientation, lack of contrast, as well as physical discomfort (e.g. distractions, excessive heat, fatigue). So the design of this science museum uses a behavioral architecture approach to minimize this and provide an intellectual and emotional experience that stimulates visitors' curiosity about science.
