Abstract
One important use of operating cash flow is to assess a company's financial performance. This evaluation helps management, analysts, and investors determine the company's ability to handle debt and manage operating costs. Managing corporate profits requires careful consideration of cash flow as it is crucial for decision-making and it requires further research on this topic. This study aims to determine the effect of operating profit and net income on future operating cash flow. The population of this study are companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) from 2019 to 2022. We used the purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 30 companies based on set criteria. The data analysis technique employs several assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results suggest that operating profit and net income do not significantly affect future operating cash flow. However, operating profit and net income simultaneously impact future operating cash flow.
