Abstract

Pati Regency is mostly populated by farmers, so that the use of agricultural land dominates almost most of its territory. This study aims to analyze the carrying capacity of agricultural land in Pati Regency in 2013, 2018, 2023 and analyze the need for agricultural land in Pati Regency in 2013, 2018, 2023, 2028, 2032. The research uses mathematical calculations and ArcGIS software to process data, using quantitative descriptive methods used in analyzing the carrying capacity of land and agricultural land needs, spatial analysis is used in processing data to visualize the distribution. Using secondary and primary data in the form of rice productivity data, agricultural land area and population data of Pati Regency in 2013, 2018, 2023. The results of the carrying capacity of Pati Regency land are divided into class I, II, III, on average Pati Regency is in class I and has the ability to be self-sufficient in its own food, but 3 kecamtan that need to be considered agricultural land carrying data. The projected agricultural land needs of Pati Regency in 2013, 208, 2023, 2028, 2032, a total of 21 sub-districts, there are 6 sub-districts that experience a deficit. Population growth and land production productivity are the main factors that have the most influence. Efforts to protect agricultural land are needed in order to maintain food self-sufficiency in Pati Regency so that it can meet the food needs of the community.
