Abstract
This study aims to analyze the direction and magnitude of the PDRB of the industrial sector, the number of business units, minimum wages, and the number of unemployed workers in the large and medium industrial sectors in the East Java Regency / City in 2018-2022. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The data used is cross-site data (cross section). Where cross section data is repeated observation on individual units (objects) that are the same in one period. Data analysis contains exposure to data processing with multiple linear regression, data analysis and economic interpretation. The results showed that the number of businesses had an effect on employment in large and medium industries in the East Java Regency / City in 2018-2022. Meanwhile, Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), the number of unemployed, and minimum wages did not affect labor absorption in the industry large and medium in the Regency / City of East Java Province in 2018-2022.
