Abstract
Indonesia has wealth in the form of abundant natural resources ranging from land and sea, one way of managing natural resources is tourism products with the development of ecotourism. The tourism sector in Indonesia plays an important role in boosting economic development as well as in Rembang Regency. The many types of tourism spread across Rembang Regency can be mapped with the help of a Geographical Analysis System which displays information in the form of tourist distribution points, accessibility and affordability. The objectives of this research are, 1) Analyzing the distribution of information on the location of tourist attractions in Rembang Regency geographically using GIS; 2) Analyze existing facilities at tourist attractions in Rembang Regency; and 3) Analyze the advantages and development of each tourist attraction that is a tourist attraction in Rembang Regency. The methods used are overlay, Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of the research are a) Tourist attractions in Rembang Regency have a random distribution pattern with a ratio of 0.930369 and a z-score of -0.498424; b) 70% of tourist attractions in Rembang Regency have adequate public facilities in the form of parking lots, toilets, souvenir shops, food stalls and places of worship. The remaining 30% have only two or three of the previously mentioned public facilities; c) A comfortable place (cool and shady) is an advantage that attracts tourists to visit tourist attractions in Rembang Regency. Cleanliness, poor maintenance of public facilities and arrangement of tourist attractions are weaknesses and challenges for developing tourist attractions in Rembang Regency.
