Abstract

Industrial era 4.0 development influence affect the dynamics of social change in society, now activities can be carried out more flexibly, both online and offline, and from anywhere. Co-working space is deemed capable of meeting space needs to accommodate these work activities. Co-working space has flexible space properties that allow space adaptation to the possibility of creating new spaces. Each user, both individual and group, can carry out various positive productive activities in the co-working space, such as building a business, teaching and learning activities, holding exhibitions, discussing with the community, and others. Community members can carry out various activities by sharing the same work space. The city of Salatiga has many local residents and immigrants of productive age. Even Salatiga City has various kinds of communities, several universities, various companies, and others, but almost does not have co-working spaces that can accommodate these activities. The existence of this co-working space can facilitate the needs of various groups in Salatiga, with biophilic architecture chosen as an approach that can bring users closer to nature so that users can experience working in a healthier work space, able to increase productivity and level of well-being. the lives of its users (well-being). It is hoped that this co-working space with a biophilic architectural approach can apply biophilic design methods so that this building can suit its function and purpose.
