Abstract
The e-commerce TikTok Shop is considered a new application, but the platform is able to compete superiorly to others, this has resulted in the government investigating further and enacting Minister of Trade Regulation No. 31 of 2023 to close the e-commerce TikTok Shop because it has not received permission and violates regulations. . The confusion regarding the closure of the e-commerce TikTok Shop has made researchers interested in conducting research as a final project. Researchers want to know the strategy for maintaining TikTok Shop e-commerce so that it can operate again in accordance with existing regulations and the impact on economic growth if the case is determined because it does not comply with existing legal regulations. The researcher formulated a strategy to maintain the e-commerce TikTok Shop so that it can operate again in accordance with existing regulations and what if the TikTok Shop closure case continues because it does not comply with existing legal regulations, will it affect economic growth in Indonesia. This research was researched using research methods with a descriptive type of research based on a normative approach which uses data types consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. This data was collected using library methods. This research has results where the TikTok shop has been allowed to reopen because it has collaborated with PT. GoTo is in compliance with the regulations stated in PERMENDAG Number 31 of 2023 and if the TikTok Shop closure case is determined because it does not comply with legal regulations, it will affect economic growth in Indonesia for users who depend on the platform which will have a butterfly effect, the government should be wiser. again in taking steps for online and offline business actors so that the economy can be balanced without any losses to certain parties in accordance with the latest laws that have come into force so as to minimize the occurrence of onrechtmatige Overheidsdaad or unlawful acts by the authorities/government.
