Abstract

Management of block center learning at TK B is a crucial approach in facilitating the holistic development of early childhood. The block center serves not only as a play area for children but also as a learning environment designed to cultivate various essential skills. Teachers at TK B implement this method with dedication, employing diverse approaches to ensure active engagement of every child according to their abilities and interests. They teach concepts such as shapes, sizes, and the relationships between them through activities involving building and arranging wooden blocks. In addition to enhancing fine and gross motor skills, children also develop their cognitive abilities by solving problems and planning actions in a fun context .The significance of the block center is also evident in the development of children's social and emotional skills. Through collaboration in small and large groups, they learn to communicate, share ideas, and complete tasks together. Teachers use an inclusive approach to ensure that every child feels supported and valued in every learning interaction. They also encourage children to develop their creativity by granting them freedom to explore various forms and structures with wooden blocks.
