Abstract

The following research aims to examine the relationship between peer social support and self-efficacy on adolescent resilience. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The following research uses a sample of 138 teenagers from Muhammadiyah High School, Kottabarat Special Program, Surakarta, consisting of 89 teenagers from class X and 49 teenagers from class XI. The technique used in sampling in this study was by using the simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is by distributing questionnaires containing scales consisting of scales of peer social support, self-efficacy and resilience. The data analysis technique for this research uses multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis were that there was a significant positive relationship between peer social support and self-efficacy on adolescent resilience, with the results of F (65.559) and a sig. (0.000) <0.05. Then peer social support obtained a sig. (0.001) <0.05, which means that there is also a significant positive relationship between peer social support and adolescent resilience. Then self-efficacy and resilience obtained sig. (0.000) <0.05, which means there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and adolescent resilience. So that peer social support and self-efficacy have a significant relationship to adolescent resilience
