Abstract
Karangjati Village is an area experiencing rapid industrial development, thus increasing the need for land used for both industrial activities and other supporting activities. The factors causing this are marked by rapid industrial development accompanied by increasing population growth. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of industrial activities in Karangjat Village, Bergas District on socio-economic conditions and to determine the strategies that have been implemented to determine the impact of socio-economic changes in society with industrial activities in Karangjati Village. This type of research uses a quantitative method, the approach method used is rationalistic and stakeholder. So that it can analyze the impact of socio-economic changes through the right development strategy. Data and information from the survey results directly, the results of data analysis in the form of printed tables, diagrams, using a Likert scale are then processed using a computer and analyzed quantitative descriptions according to the research object. Industrial activities have a positive impact on socio-economic conditions stating that industrial activities have a positive impact, namely 63 people (58.9%) where most of them are in the education aspect, namely 81 people (75.7%), higher than the economic aspect, namely 52 people (48.6%), in the community aspect, namely 62 people (57.9%), the welfare aspect, namely 61 people (57.0%) and the facility aspect, namely 62 people (57.9%). The largest is in the education aspect. providing positive changes in the education aspect, namely 60 people (95.2%).
